Dropbox, one of the best online cloud services has now made its app available for Windows Phone 8.1 users. The app can be downloaded from Windows Store. Microsoft and Dropbox joined hands about 2 months ago where both the companies decided to integrate the cloud based storage service into the Office app for tablets and smartphones. Now all the Windows Phone users will have access to Dropbox Cloud storage service along with Microsoft’s own One Drive. It is a good move by Microsoft to integrate Dropbox with MS office as Dropbox is very popular among online cloud storage services.

Coming to the features of Dropbox app for Windows Phones, users will get almost all the features which are available for iOS and Android Platform on the app for Windows Phones. Your photos will automatically get backed up on your Dropbox account allowing you to access your photos from anywhere and even if you are not having an active internet connection available with you. Using the Dropbox app you can easily access your work and personal account under one roof. Windows Phone users can pin and dropbox folder on the start screen giving easy access to the users. Windows Phone users can use third party clients as Microsoft had allowed it from quite some time but nothing beats the official Dropbox app.

Recently Dropbox acquired CloudOn which is a cloud based document editing service. We are not sure if this acquisition will bring any good to Windows Phone users or not but we can wait for something good to happen but we think Dropbox will soon launch some cloud based tools soon for Windows Phone users.

You can download the Dropbox app for all the Windows Phone devices running on Windows Phone 8 and above. The app is available for free at Windows Phone Store and we have shared the downloading link of the app below.
