Yes, you heard it right. The time is coming near when you will be able to use Windows 10 on your PC’s and Microsoft recently announced that all the Windows 7 and 8 users will get a free upgrade to Windows 10 even the ones who are using pirated versions of Windows. Windows 10 is going will be launched this summer and if you are running a cracked Windows 7 or 8 you will get a free upgrade to Windows 10.

Microsoft has battled a lot over the past few years for piracy particularly for all the versions of Windows operating systems. Microsoft is going to turn the tables around by introducing Windows 10 free to all users on Windows 7 and 8. Microsoft’s Windows Chief says “We are upgrading all qualified PCs, genuine and non-genuine, to Windows 10.” Speaking to The Verge, a Microsoft spokesperson said “Anyone with a qualified device can upgrade to Windows 10, including those with pirated copies of Windows.”

This means that millions of computers running on Windows 7 and 8 will get free update to Windows 10 this summer. When Microsoft launched Windows XP, a software was launched alongside it which helped in the activation of the operating system but was compromised by crackers. New versions were brought but they were cracked from time to time leading to more piracy of the operating system. As per the former CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, one out of 10 Windows users in China run a genuine copy of Windows. The issue is with other countries like China, Brazil and India.

The main reason why Microsoft has decided to launch a free upgrade to Windows 10 is so that people are able to realize the advantages which they are going to get after installing the genuine versions of Windows 10 on their tablet computers. The issue is with small retailers also which sell a pirated version of Windows along with the new laptop of computer which is being purchased from them.

Windows 10 is going to be launched this summer. The operating system will be available in 190 countries and will come with support of 111 languages. We will keep you more updated about news related to Windows 10. Keep visiting our website for more updates.
